Chris was absolutely wonderful to work with while planning the music portion of our wedding reception. In the lead up to the reception Chris was always responsive when contacted and willing to give suggestions or just listen to our ideas. The night of the reception Chris traveled to our venue and set up the main station in the ballroom and a satellite station in the room where our cocktail reception was being held….it was great to have his presence and music in both locations. I would definitely recommend this set up.
Extremely professional in his manner and when making announcements, Chris really kept the introductions, dances and toasts moving along at a great pace. During the cocktail hour and dinner his song selections were perfect and complemented the setting we were hoping to achieve perfectly. Once all the formalities were over and done with Chris got the party started and quickly had people up on the dance floor for the remainder of the evening. A good time was definitely had by all and Chris knew exactly what music to play and kept everyone moving all night. Nothing but the strongest and most sincere recommendations and praise for CJ the DJ. He definitely made our wedding reception a most memorable occasion.

"Chris was a pleasure to work with! My husband and I wanted to have a great, fun reception for our wedding and music was an essential component of a successful party. I was nervous about finding a DJ that would fit our needs and understand our desire for classy music early in the evening and then to turn it into a dance party later. We met Chris in February for our first consultation and we were impressed right away that he wanted to meet us at our venue (my parent’s house), which was about forty minutes from where he lives. After meeting Chris, we were both thrilled with his approach to DJing and his personality, so much so that I actually hugged him before he left! Chris put me at absolute ease and I trusted him completely with pulling off our wedding music. The day of the wedding was unbelievably hectic, but Chris did a great job of helping move along all of the necessities, such as announcing the bridal party, first dances, bouquet toss, etc and his music was perfect! All of my friends and family members were up and dancing all night. Because of the nature of our reception, Chris stayed until 2:30am when the party started winding down, something that no other DJ would ever offer. It’s been over a week since our wedding and we still have people telling us what an amazing party it was and how excellent the music was. Not only is Chris the paragon of professionalism, he is also a fun guy and a wonderful person to work with and his rates are extremely reasonable. I recommend Chris as a DJ with absolutely no reservations and wholeheartedly believe that he will make your next party or wedding the event that people talk about for years to come.

I thought you did a really nice job for us with age appropriate music and you kept everyone moving and things flowing well. The games like the hula hoop contest and the songs like the Macarena and Chicken Dance are always a hit, but you did a good job not to embarrass some of those Dads who were a little meek on the dance floor! "We were very happy with Chris. He provided the music for both the ceremony and our reception. He arrived early to set-up, and was extremely professional. He asked for a list of some of our favorite songs/artists to get an idea of our music taste. I also gave him my iPod on which I had loaded the music we had chosen for the ceremony (that way you get the exact recording that you prefer-there are so may versions of some pieces available). He also played some of my music from my iPod during the reception; it was a nice surprise to hear those! Chris was very particuar about getting the names for the announcements and confirming the pronounciations of the names. Chris announced us, our parents, flowergirl and bridesmaid, then promped the toast and cake cutting. We didn't do anything like a dollar dance, garter or bouquet toss so the MC duties were minimal. Chris made the whole thing flow well (and we really hadn't given much thought to the reception, so it was great to have someone as experienced as Chris!) "My new husband and I had the pleasure of Chris Holman [C.J. the D.J.] do our Wedding reception music and entertainment at the Best Western Hotel, Keene NH.
He did an awesome job providing my guests of about 80 with music of their pleasure from the 60s for the older crowd to the top music of todays hits for the younger genertion so everyone was very pleased and satisfied with dancing and having fun, the children were so cute with their dresses twirling in the air to the beats, and the hokey pokey was fun everyone got up and joined in young and older. My brother was showing off his achey breaky heart country moves, I havent heard that song in like 10 yrs!! My uncle Herb & Aunt karla also showed off their dance steps that they have learned in Ballroom dancing which they took up for their sons wedding just last year. you do an awesome job & we were very pleased work.
